Every time you are reminded of an event in your life, from your past, you are looking at it ‘quite patiently’. Most frequently, these events get triggered off from memory, the results of which were either partial, emotional or unsatisfactory.
The results in all these situations was “Impatience”. Your expectation of the results was triggered of either by;
1. Your impulse (a desire gone haywire), or
2. Your emotions (your desire without a rationale) or
3. Your unreasonable expectations (based on the demands of the ego)
All these desires had got qualified by your past inadequacies at that point in time. And there was an impatience to fulfil it. So you had to act. And you were/are left with the result, a mental wound you were/are left to ‘Nurse In Patience’.
Whenever you are prompted by a desire, be patient. Do the following things;
a. Look from where it seems to be originating within yourself.
b. Look at the prevailing feeling and emotion at this time
c. Notice the type of demand that is thrown at you
d. Ask yourself if this is required at the moment
Just close your eyes, take deep breathes, do the kriya of releasing the tongue, you jaw and your breathe. Just become detached. Let not the mind take over.
As you relax, the force of the desire becomes lower and lower. Your ability to reason out with it becomes stronger and stronger.
The result is;
1. Self control
2. Self confidence
3. High Self esteem
4. Your ability to lead your life in the ‘Now’
